It’s Never Really Over
Never Really Over is an independent pop-rock project based out of Charleston, South Carolina. The initiate of Axel Rangel (guitars, bass) and Ryan Glander (lead vocals, keyboard), and formed from the remnants of a former group, the duo continued to begin a new group with a new goal: create something intentional.
Musically inspired from their common influence, they sought to create a sound reminiscent of musics as Phil Collins, Sam Fender, the 1975, and The War on Drugs, all with a commonality: refined musicianship and production, which Rangel and Glander sought as paramount to their material. Working on their recorded work at Coast records, they brought in Nick Bolchoz for drums.
With their first songs recorded, and the first single, “Interlock” released, they reached out to friends they knew in the Charleston music scene to form the band, rehearse, and perform. They have since continued to perform around the Charleston area.
