NRO is excited to be joined by our good friends, Human Resources, for an unforgettable night at The Royal American. Join us on September 5th for some of Charleston’s best original music and an incredible show.
Human Resources
Human Resources is an American indie-pop band from Charleston, SC. Formed in 2015 by Dries Vandenberg, Aaron Utterback, Paul Chelmis, and Matt Zutell, HR quickly adopted a unique role in the blossoming Charleston music scene as a more pop-centric counterpart to the neo-southern and indie rock acts prevalent in the area at the time.

Royal American with Buko Boys and Winterteeth
On November 21st, NRO is excited to open for Buko Boys. Joined by a Charleston-favorite, Winterteeth, this show will be jam-packed with energy, great music, and a night you’re not going to want to miss. The Royal American will be rockin’ on November 21st, so don’t miss out!
Buko Boys
“Buko" meaning "coconut" in Tagalog, encapsulates the vibe of this sun-kissed group hailing from Miami, FL with roots from the Philippines. Steeped in anime-inspired themes, they coined their one-of-a-kind sound as “alt-rock/R&B.” They continue to tour nationally, riding their internet success, while making waves in the thriving South Florida music scene.
The band is composed of bassist and lead singer Andy Gil, guitarist and lead vocalist Raquel Lily, keyboardist and producer Martin Castor, and drummer Di’AngeloGonzalez. In June 2025, buko boys released their debut 14-song, self-produced LP, "Float."
Winterteeth
(from INDMusic) “Winterteeth make a powerful debut with “Favors,” a loud, chaotic, and emotionally charged indie rock single. Blending post-punk intensity, dynamic shifts, distorted guitars, and raw energy, the Charleston band delivers an explosive introduction that feels urgent and cathartic. Read the full review of this standout 2026 release and discover why Winterteeth are a band to watch.”
LoFi supporting Enslow
NRO is excited to jump on a bill at Lo-fi Brewing, headlined by Baltimore-based Enslow.
Enslow
Hailing from Baltimore’s vibrant music scene, Enslow is a dynamic singer-songwriter whose commanding vocals and captivating performances have established her as a standout in modern pop music. Seamlessly blending elements of electronic pop with hints of the 1970s and an indie sensibility, Enslow's music offers a refreshing take on the contemporary pop scene. Her debut album, Hello, released in 2024, is a testament to her authentic artistry.
